Zilhuj moon is likely to become visible on June 7 in Pakistan, predicts Ruet-e-Hilal Research Council, making the fall of Eidul Azha on June 17.
The council official said the moon of the last month of Islamic calendar- Zilhuj- will born on June 6 with age of not more than 25 hours.
He said it is highly likely the moon could become visible in parts of country on June 7. The Eidul Azha, then, would fall on 17th of June (Monday).
The Eid, however, confirmed on June 18 in case the moon could not be sighted on June 7.
The government will announce the holidays after the official announcement of the moon sighting by the Ruet-e-Hilal committee.
