During the ongoing crackdown against gas pilferers, SNGPL continued raids in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad, disconnecting another 92 connections; Rs. 2.29 million fine imposed
In Lahore, the team disconnected 05 connections on illegal use of gas. In Multan 05 connections were disconnected for illegal use by the regional team.
In Peshawar, the company disconnected 70 connections on account of direct use of gas and illegal use of gas and an amount of Rs. 1.93 million have been booked against gas theft cases. The regional team of Sheikhupura disconnected 4 connections on illegal use of gas and also booked an amount of Rs. 0.03 against gas theft cases. The team also lodged 1 FIR against gas pilferers.
In Bahawalpur, the team imposed a fine of Rs. 0.22 million against gas theft cases. The regional team of Gujrat disconnected 01 connection on illegal use of gas. In Rawalpindi, the team disconnected 1 connection for illegal use of gas while another one was on the use of a compressor and also imposed a fine of Rs. 0.07 million against gas theft cases. The regional team of Faisalabad disconnected 5 connections on illegal use of gas and booked an amount of Rs. 0.04 million against gas pilferers.
