With the announcement of a free motorbike program for females, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is urging parents to believe in their daughters and let them benefit from the program.
She made this announcement on Monday during the Chief Minister Pink Games’ inaugural closing ceremony, which took place in a gymnasium.
She gave prizes to other winning teams at the event and gave a trophy to the Lahore College for Women University team.
She did not, however, reveal the specifics of the free motorbike program for females, such as the number of bikes to be given out or the requirements for inclusion. In the upcoming days, she might provide these specifics.
Maryam Nawaz emphasised the hiring of a youthful and competent sports minister in Punjab who seeks to increase the Pink Games’ exposure across the region. She also revealed plans to launch the Punjab League following the Pink Games, anticipating a million participants and expanding the competition throughout the province.
Separately, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz gave assistant commissioners instructions to immediately handle complaints from the public. The Punjab assistant commissioners were gathered by the chief minister, who underscored the government’s zero-tolerance stance against any type of corruption. She pleaded with the assistant commissioners to respect elected officials and refuse to follow directives from unapproved sources.
