The team for the 2024 T20 World Cup, which is scheduled to begin on June 2 in the United States and the West Indies, was revealed on Tuesday by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
The team will be led by Rohit Sharma with Hardik Pandya his vice captain.
After making an impression in the IPL, Yuzvendra Chahal was selected, along with other spinners Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, and Axar Patel.
Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, and Arshdeep Singh make up the speed attack, while Pandya and Dube are available as seam-bowling alternatives.
The Indian team has two wicketkeepers: Sanju Samson and Rishabh Pant.

India’s World Cup campaign will begin on June 5 against Ireland at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. On June 9, they will play their World Cup encounter at the same stadium against their bitter rivals, Pakistan. India’s next matches are scheduled for June 12 and June 15, respectively, against the USA and Canada.
